Seeing as my 5+ years old phone is on its way out, what with a battery that lasts 5hours, heating up to the point of burning you when holding the phone, having a cracked back that can cut you, losing the keyboard system about once a day, and crashing and rebooting on its own once a week to once a month, I use it as my primary digital camera but the photo system takes forever, hangs on the first photo taken on app launch without saving the photo, and more, I caved in for a new phone.

Hoping to make it last at least as long, and I had saved up enough to get it without risking immediate financial problems, but given my low income, I'd appreciate any help in making this less of a sting, perhaps as a tip if you're a meow user, or like the art stuff I get/writing I do.

That said. Always prioritize yourself, and I ain't the one that needs it the most, so don't feel pressured in any way!

@Nomaxice you may already have a phone in mind, but if you want the most bang for your buck you may want to look at getting a used google pixel 8a. It still has 6 years of software updates left but can be bought on the used market for lower than $300.
@constancies I really don't like Google pixels, myself, and already pulled the trigger on a phone that ticked most requirements for me!
@Nomaxice glad to hear it worked out
