Man charged in deputy's death was the father of teen shot by Cincinnati police, authorities say

Police in Cincinnati say a man who struck and killed a county deputy with his car on Friday is the father of a teenager who was shot and killed by Cincinnati police a day earlier. Police say the 38-year-old driver of the car has been charged with aggravated murder in the deputy’s death. Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said in a statement that he was sickened by what appears to be an intentional act of violence. Cincinnati’s police chief says the Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputy who died was directing traffic when he was hit by a car that drove into an intersection.
