Move/remove M.2 standoffs (?) - sh.itjust.works

Yo, trying to move the q latch (Asus thing apparently) (blue circle) to where the standoff is (red circle) is that possible at all?? There was a screw on the under side of the mobo for the q latch (still blue circle) but it didn’t move at all… And I chipped the normalish m.2 standoff (red circle) trying to use pliers. Would like confirmation on movability before looking for a tiny socket ratchet…

The manual says it should be movable.

I read the manual previously and the only one it shows as being removed is the “removable” m.2 qlatch that actually has a philips head on the top, no mention of the other ones with no Philips top. Guess I could dig around see if I can find the bag of motherboard things and see if it comes with shorter standoffs that go on top of the preexisting standoffs?

I’ve had to buy a M.2 mounting kit, and it worked for my mobo with those same standoffs. The threading size, and how tall the little standoff/pole is, is very specific and doesn’t match up with any other PC hardware, unfortunately… And like no one includes them with any M.2 hardware you buy…

It was like $4 and came with ~4 of each: the tall skinny standoff that screws into the short flat one of the mobo, and then the screw that goes into the top of that to keep the M.2 board in place.
