@maggiejk @smallcircles @ppdelft - indeed, I never use meta products... but even that's not enough.
Meta collects data on non-users through their browsing history and by using the contact upload feature of its users. When people visit websites with Meta's "Like" and "Share" buttons, or when those websites use Meta "Pixel," Meta can track their activity, even if they are not logged into Meta. Meta also accesses data from users' uploaded contacts to find out information about non-users.
