@Snowshadow I like that there is access to dental care for more people now. I dislike that we are paying Sun Life way too much money to administer that, instead of doing it ourselves in house.

@Snowshadow - don't you mean, thank you Jagmeet Singh and the NDP? Because without consistent, sustained pressure from them, for years now, this never would have happened.

It's more than a day late and more than a dollar short, especially considering private companies were brought in instead of doing it properly and at-cost.

@Polywog
You have a point about the NDP, and I don't like the private company being involved however, with everything going on in the world today why do you have find only the negative?
Aren't you happy that vulnerable people will have the opportunity to be healthier?
This benefit won't help me, I wear dentures but I am happy for others who it will make life better.

@Snowshadow - I'm not "only" finding the negative. I'm calling out erasure when I see it.

Of course it's a good thing that more people have access to health care. But that part's obvious. Misappropriating the credit and leaving out the parts where it was delayed for years & then implemented in a short-sighted fashion isn't responsible.

@Snowshadow That's a weird way of spelling Jagmeet Singh

@psilonaut

Thanks, point taken but you could have made it **without the snark***.
And I am sure that if Poilievre was elected he would have eliminated the dental plan , so yes, thanks Carney

Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed?

@Snowshadow - it's not "snark" to point out, fairly kindly and without insults, that you are erasing the contributions of others.

The correct response to the Liberal party on this isn't "thank you", it's "what took you so long?"

@Snowshadow I mute β€œsnark” users. Easier on the psyche if reading their posts in the morning.
@Snowshadow oh jeez. This is why the NDP just got destroyed. I don't think the average Canadian understands what the NDP did for them. Mark Carney genuinely had nothing to do with this.
@Snowshadow
Will the wicked maga witch of Alberta also deny these benefits of their taxes to Albertans? And will Alberta taxpayers cheer that they get no dental coverage? The land of loonies.
