@ghostlyash I guess you're "not nude" but I think this is more a of a "topless" moment rather than a "lot of boobage" moment and the "not nude" implies you're wearing clothing and it's just revealing in nature
@sodiboo yeah you're right i changed it. ig in my head i was thinking "not nude" implied it was pretty close to being nude cause why even mention it if you were clothed
@ghostlyash @sodiboo idk sometimes i write things like "nsfw, lewd, nude". my text posts are usually "nsfw, lewd" or something like that. if i wrote "not nude" itd imply a picture altho id probably write "lewd pic of me" or something just to avoid this confusion
@puppygirlhornypost2 @sodiboo yeah i should've just done that. ig also in my head i was like "i'm just posting this as a picture rather than something to be lusted over". having it tagged as lewd or nsfw put a connotation that the picture was meant to be sexual when it really wasn't but you're right i wasn't thinking it is just easier and safer to do that
@ghostlyash @puppygirlhornypost2 I mean, you don't need to have that connotation if you don't want it. "lewd, nsfw" are very generic tags anyways and you can safely omit them if you don't want that kind of attention, as long as the rest of the CW is sufficiently descriptive of what I'm going to see when I click "expand this CW".

for instance, i think something like this would fit here: "this isn't necessarily lewd, but here's a picture where I'm showing off my boobs"; it sufficiently warns about the contents for anyone who needs that, and I
think it sets the tone for how you want folks to engage in the replies (based on what you described in the post I'm replying to)
@sodiboo @ghostlyash@transfem.social i should stop treating cws like tumblr tags and actually write sentences for clarification. ive become so used to the abbreviations and just being as compact as possible
@puppygirlhornypost2 @ghostlyash yeah. we need more content warnings that are more proper sentences both because they're more descriptive than a compact set of tags and also kinda because they force folks to read them haha.

I'm not sure how to segue naturally into this but here's a neat example of "sentence shaped content warning that's concise but sets expectations" on a post of mine with a similar vibe to the root of this thread
