the US police spending is the highest in the world, so high that it ranks above every other country's MILITARY spending except China's.

@flexghost I agree 101% that the US is moving towards / is in - a new phase. All I'm saying is that the phrase "police state" doesn't even come close to describing what that new phase is, because the US has been a police state for decades now.
