Here's another picture dump from my four days in Cagliari. Today I'm taking the night ferry to Napoli, marking the end of this Sardinia trip. I shall be back!

I'm a couple of days behind again on my documentation. I spent two nights in Napoli. Definitely not my favourite city. Mostly makes a very dirty, loud and crowded impression. Traffic is absolutely awful. One place I want to highlight in particular is Parco di Villa Floridiana. A beautiful forest-like park with a native cat colony, and great views. An amazing oasis in the bustle of the city.

Day 10

On the way I stopped in Ercolano to visit the ancient Roman city of Herculaneum. Highly recommended! Smaller than Pompeii but with some fantastic preserved features like multi-story houses and even wooden artefacts!

Today I visited the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. One unexpected feature was an exhibition of photographs and videos from Pink Floyd's concert "Live in Pompeii" which was recorded in the ancient amphitheater.

Day 11

After visiting the ruins in Pompeii, it started raining. I waited 2 hours for the rain to stop, then just started cycling. I, of course, got completely soaked...

Day 12

Big leg today following the beautiful Amalfi coast. A bit much traffic, as it's a super touristy area, but a fantastic experience nonetheless in perfect weather.
