I think I actually haven't posted WIPs here in a while of what I'm currently working on (oops). Quite a while ago, I started working on a YCH canine base model. I promised to do a raffle when I hit 1000 watchers on FA last year.
Currently testing what I can do with said base model and ironing out bugs.
I now have a model of our beloved Ammy.
Unfortunately, it seems I'm facing nothing but issues. The rig has given me a ton of trouble as I was doing an actual animation, so the progress is much slower than expected. Lots of back and forth between several Blender files. I've also noticed that I somehow introduced a fairly noticeable glitch in the UVs at the shoulders of the base model, which I probably can't fix without redoing a lot of texturing work. The fur hides it somewhat, though, so I hope it'll be okay...
On Ammy specifically, the long pointy tufts on her limbs need some sort of setup to keep the tips from diverging when the mesh moves.
Doing the animation is otherwise pretty fun though, all things considered.
