First open source invention:
The SlowBot: stepper motors run a manual indexer for all joints. It uses small tools. You machine the raw stock with a lathe, manual or CNC. You put the small end vertically in a collect holder. It should the dowel should be of small diameter and flat on final part. Do five axis type machine with an air driven spindle on the working end with tools no bigger than 1/8" (probably too big still). It is slow going. I need help making it open source.
