Of all our trips to Portugal, our favorite moment came one year ago tonight. We’d timed the trip so we’d be in Lisbon in time to see the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, which, on April 24, 1974, overthrew a decades-long dictatorship.
