@esm yeah i don't have anything to add to this. i hate people being like "just use matrix. just use signal" like from a ui perspective they aren't the same thing. i can't just make a signal server and have the same level of customization with roles etc. not even mentioning the community side of things with all the discord bots

@puppygirlhornypost2 yeah signal is good but i would not consider it a replacement for discord at all, the two are effectively completely different things

@esm yeah which is what annoys me. yeah for my dms with my friends on discord signal can replace that (and it has for confidential stuff). for vibing in a discord server of my streamer friend... like nah signal isn't a replacement
