Even independent of temps/acidity could they 'grow' fast enough to stay close enough to the surface?

@pixelpusher220 @davidho Depends on nutrient and water flow. They can adapt to lower light in captivity, but only when there is ample food sources.

Maybe it is worth to sacrifice coral reefs for the greater good?
Check out the "urban coral project" by coralmorphologic in Miami. Some species are trying their best to adapt.
