The NVME SSD the eBay seller sent to replace the missing one from the laptop arrived. It is not the form factor I asked for. I received a 2230 instead of a 2242. I said it was correct in a picture he sent but it's pretty hard to tell a twelve millimeter difference in a photograph with no ruler, especially when I say "it should be 42mm. long" & the guy just goes "ok, yup".

Also, this SSD seems fucked up. Look at this.

what do i do

i hate ebay dude

That is a whole ass BitLocker partition. Someone's nudes are probably on there. This can't be brand new. Either this SSD is fucked up or the seller wiped its diagnostics data to make it look better than it is.
I refreshed devices & now the partition table is gone & it has no sectors.
After restarting the computer it came back. I assume it's just a shitty SSD & it fits too loosely from being the wrong size. It has a full Windows install with BitLocker though, which is why I think it's not with its original computer. Someone locked themself out with BitLocker! Why does this happen so much?
Has someone cracked BitLocker the way Windows activation keys get cracked a month after the operating system is released every time?
It's from a Dell laptop & comes with some fancy Dell system restore thing that reinstalls Windows. Someone did not BitLocker themself, it came this way.
It does not seem to be able to do anything due to BitLocker though.
