#Shuffle
Mahli (remix) (2005) by Souad Massi

This track starts low, then gradually builds up. This is from her album
Mesk Elil (Honeysuckle).

It is a remix of
Ilham also on the album.

The next track to come up was:
The Bazaar (1995) by The Tea Party

Shuffle obviously feeding me Middle-Eastern vibes tonight.

One of the best gigs I ever went to was seeing this Canadian band live at a student union bar in Canberra in 1997.

The energy was amazing, and the mixture of hard rock, loops and Middle-Eastern styling left everyone buzzing. I left the gig totally drenched in sweat and hardly felt the cold as I went off into the freezing winter night.

And of course it then lead me to:
Temple of Love (1992 version) by The Sisters of Mercy

The Sisters of Mercy

The extra vocals here were by the late Yemeni-Israeli singer Ofra Haza. She tragically died from AIDS in 2000 (possibly acquired through a blood transfusion).
