Silicon Valley crosswalk buttons hacked to imitate Musk, Zuckerberg:

""It's normal to feel uncomfortable or even violated as we forcefully insert AI into every facet of your conscious experience. And I just want to assure you, you don't need to worry because there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.""

@jwz Please be patient while we update the password to Spring2025
@jwz one of my favorite stories about my kids: older daughter had a soccer game. As of 10 minutes before game time, no one had unlocked the field. They called and no one was going to get there soon. Field was a local high school. She knew the combination at her nearby school was the street address of the school, so she looked up the field school on her phone, tried the address, and let everyone in

@jwz Shit! I need to change the password on my luggage ...

@klausfiend @jwz

And that is why I only own combination locks with five digits.

@jwz

These companies really should change their boilerplate statements to "We *now* take this matter seriously..."

@cazabon I mean, they're not lying, it's just that by "this matter" they mean "this press attention".

@cazabon @jwz

there’s always the Blizzard apology: “We’re sorry you’re upset.”

@jwz "Sweetie, come back to bed" threw me, I'll be honest. 😝
