In the light of the utterly reprehensible attacks on trans rights in the UK, I wanted to share this list of trans services and resources from the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre.

Support services for trans people - London LGBTQ Community Centre

We want to reaffirm we will always stand alongside our trans, non-binary and intersex siblings and the wider queer community.

I'm spinning between fury and sadness on this, whilst also remembering the graphic I saw on the fediverse one time that said something along the lines of 'trans people are older than your gods' - I wish I'd saved it.

I did some research and think the 'trans people are older than god' graphic I saw was about Inanna, an ancient Mesopotamian Goddess of love and war who had many transgender and non-binary folk amongst her followers.

I can't find the original graphic but I did find this web-comic about Inanna - which is both pretty and has sources.
