Iβ€˜m not opposed to billionaires using rockets to visit space. It’s them coming back that irks me.
@masek The ocean always welcomes billionaires! πŸŒŠβ πŸ”±β πŸ’€
@catsalad @masek Less carbon and we can keep an eye on them. Better plan.
@masek Sadly the old rule "what goes up must come down" is still true.
Seems like we need to encourage them to reach escape velocity.
@masek There'd be ways of getting rid of them with less environmental impact.
@masek

I'll say it again, more booster sections and a preprogrammed solar trajectory.

@masek Right? I can't _wait_ for Elon to (attempt to) fly to Mars on one of his rockets.

Best idea the man has ever had.

@masek them blowing them up and dropping space craft all over the planet (and into orbit) seem pretty bad.
@masek yes. I'd back a project to get them all included in musk's let's go live on Mars thing. Get them all up there. This year.
Or just to the moon - tell them it's just a short wait there to meet their connection for the onward journey.

@capnthommo There was a news article in the German press yesterday saying "We need out own space billionaires" and that really ticked me off.

The billionaire shall pay taxes and society will decide, if we use them for space travel.
