So on Chrome on Windows, is anyone else getting the since the latest update where downloads just hang after they've fully downloaded? Or is this just my personal computer curse?
(if you're scrambling to your keyboard to suggest getting a different browser/OS, please take a fucking hike, you're not being useful)
@scalzi It can depend on the SIZE of the download, as Chrome (and other browsers) download the file to a temporary filename, and then adjust the name, once completed.
If I I may suggest - have someone else, on a different computer, download the SAME FILE as you, at the same time, and time them.
If your download is much longer, then perhaps uninstall and reinstall Chrome.
If it's the same, then ... if may just be your expectations or a localized impatience field in your space-time continium.
