A status report on my #MutualAid crowdfunding:
Thanks to donations above and beyond what I needed for March, I am basically set and solid through the end of April as well. I have enough in reserve to pay out all the essentials, including rent and utilities through the end of April and the beginning of May. So, no more "begging" from me for a while!!

I will keep donations open for stockpiling funds for May and beyond, because (1) there's still no word on when my appeal with Social Security over my SSDI disability benefits will be resolved; and (2) May is my birthday month (I will turn 61 on May 7th).
All counters regarding funding have been reset back to zero; and the goal for May has been reset to $2,000 for the balance of that month plus any contingencies or emergencies.

Please note that this is NOT an emergency situation as per the usual; this is simply me asking for funds early that I can at least stockpile for when or if I need them later on. There is absolutely NO pressure for you to donate; indeed, there are others on here with far more pressing needs than I have at this time that I would encourage you to donate your spare change to. Donate to me only if you want to.

Also, while all my major expenses and bills are covered through the remainder of April and early May, my surplus is rapidly running out, and I will need funds to get through mid- and late-May expenses. No word on when my SSDI appeal will be resolved.
