Looks like the latest iOS update disagrees with TV Forecast. Trakt has disabled TV Forecast’s API token because it has been hammering Trakt's servers. I'm investigating! Sorry, and thank you for your patience.
@tvforecastapp The TV Forecast app is working fine now on my iPhone, but it is crashing on start all the times on my iPad and Mac.
@marcelocampiglia Will look into this tomorrow, thanks for the heads up - I've removed Mac support (for now). There have been issues where the app is hammering Trakt, and so far it's been happening exclusively on Mac Catalyst so I'm disabled it until I can figure out why.
@tvforecastapp @marcelocampiglia I’m seconding this crash experience on iPad. Only happens when signed in to trakt
@TrekTech @marcelocampiglia Submitting a fix for this now. Sorry for the delay.
@tvforecastapp @marcelocampiglia no worries! I’ve just been using it with iCloud sync without trakt. What did the problem end up being? Something widget related? I appreciate all your hard work. Best tracker of them all. I have sampled most of them!
@TrekTech @marcelocampiglia it was actually quite ridiculous: I bumped up the minimum deployment recently and this surfaced the new floating tab bar on iPad. When updating from Trakt, TV Forecast shows a progress bar, aligned to the bottom tab bar (using auto layout). Because the bottom tab bar didn’t exist, there was nothing to align to and auto layout thought the best course of action was to crash the whole app.
@tvforecastapp @marcelocampiglia wow! A bizarre set of unintended consequences for sure! I love the new floating bar though!
