HUH. Apparently #Osaka has the go-karts on city streets thing as well. #NoJustNo I can’t think of a more effective way to become THAT tourist, so no thank you.

That is the Mario cart thing that Gazza was talking about. A couple of the guys from Siemens went on them and said they were terrifying because you have to try and keep up with the guide.

Except I wouldn’t because occupying city streets like that as a tourist strikes me as a)Exceptionally rude b) Massively (and justifiably) annoying to locals trying to just go about their business and c)unbelievably rude

"Trying not to die" was pretty much their appraisal as well.
Apparently plenty of Japanese also use this for "fun".

@Steveg58 I regard that as being in the same category of “fun” as jumping out of, or off, something that is fully functional.

I will not ever claim to be “wise”, I will claim “not ENOUGH of a fool” to do that. Whilst also noting that that’s a fairly low bar to clear…
