I guess this would be funnier if I didn't work in manufacturing.
@SmudgeTheInsultCat …and who wants to work for $.50 per hour? (If anyone needs to be reminded why our Capitalist Overlords disenfranchised 100s of thousands, if not millions of blue collar workers, stampeding a great deal of our manufacturing to Asia starting in the 70s)

@SmudgeTheInsultCat similar problem with housing around here (πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦)

Everyone wants more affordable houses built.

Nobody wants more affordable houses built in their neighborhood.

@SmudgeTheInsultCat If you've actually set foot in a modern factory these days you'd be surprised how great some of the conditions are.

Not every factory I've been in is great but most are pretty damn good.

@SmudgeTheInsultCat I know what we do! We have our children work the factories. The best part about that is we don't have to pay for their education anymore. What's that? Skilled labour shortage? Never heard of it!
