#BangChan and #Hyunjin were #FlaggingLightPinkLeft (dildo fucker) at #skzDominateSantiago, conventional bandana style, unambiguous placement, top marks to those two.

#LeeKnow might have been flagging light pink -- except that bandana is attached exactly to the middle of his waist.

... does it count if someone flags in the *middle*?

Flagging light pink right is dildo fuckee, so maybe Lee Know likes both ... but no I won't allow it. if he likes both, he needs to have two bandanas (one for each side).

Edited: changed from pink (tit torture) to light pink (dildo fucking)

Before you continue to YouTube

@lookitmychicken - not to be pedantic but that's LIGHT pink. Dildo giver/receiver, depending on side.

@Polywog I have been carefully studying the shades of pink and I'm not convinced one way or another. They appear different shades in different lights. I almost thought it was red the first time I saw those outfits.

This group photo is probably the one with the most neutral lighting. Only #Hyunjin's pink bandana is visible in this one, but the others appear the same shade as Hyunjin's when in the same lighting.

What do you think, light pink or dark pink?

Also: thank you for your contribution to the data collection! For science! 😁

@lookitmychicken - strangely enough, we had this exact discussion at work a few weeks ago (I work in live theatre and a recent show had a gay masc character who wore a bandana of that style and colour in their back pocket as part of the costume). The costume designer declared it light pink. So I'm going with that 🀣

@Polywog alright I must defer to the costume designer's wisdom! I'll update the tags and index when I'm home.

I had assumed that light pink would be more of a pale or pastel pink, and dark pink would be more like lipstick or hot pink.

Dammit I need to find a reference that uses actual photos of bandanas and not just words on solid color backgrounds πŸ˜…

This is the reference I usually go to first: https://www.thesaintfoundation.org/community/hanky-code-bob-damrons-address-book

@lookitmychicken - it was genuinely a discussion, even with multiple queers and a costume designer and wardrobe head in the mix! Some of the colours are just too difficult to discern. "Dark Pink" vs "Magenta", "Dark Blue" vs "Navy".... I'm a lighting tech and unless you gave me a gel colour code I'd be lost!

@Polywog LOOK AT THIS

#BangChan understood that his flagging was unclear and might be misread.

So this time he's #FlaggingLightPinkLeft *and* Flagging Dark Pink Left

what a helpful boy

(later edit: changed my mind, I think it's light pink *only)

@lookitmychicken - haha love it! Now if only we could figure out what the one tied in the centre was about....

@Polywog psst don't tell anyone but my even-more-secret theory is that they're not flagging their personal preferences at all, but just wearing bandanas because the bandanas move nicely when they dance.

And the colours are whatever goes best with their outfits.

And the fact that they're way more likely to wear bandanas on the left hip instead of the right is that they're mostly right-handed. So a bandana on the left would be less likely to get in the way of their dominant hand.

And #LeeKnow is ambidextrous, meaning he doesn't have a dominant hand, so it makes sense that he'd be the only one to wear a bandana in the middle sometimes.

But I know my even-more-secret theory is outrageous, please forgive me

@lookitmychicken - I love that you looked up their handed-ness as part of this πŸ₯°

@Polywog I ... did not look that up. I knew it already because my skz obsession is wide-ranging and my brain is full of random skz facts.

Ahaha oh dear.
