Hi everybody, since most of you do not seem to know how much I personally pay to run my 3 fediverse instances, and how much is covered by donations I made a site where I can track both of these things and visualize it: https://donations.bentigorlich.de/

For the last 12 months we're sitting at 21.03% covered by donations. For 2025 we're sitting over 100% which is just great, so thank you all for donating to keep the servers up and running.

I will continue to post the monthly costs here under #cookiecosts

FYI I will continue to develop the page and probably open source it at some point.

You can actually see all the costs the instances accumulated over the years. Maybe I'll add a visualization for all-time year by year. We'll see :)

I will absolutely add a darkmode in the future :D
