I IMPLORE YOU if you are not already doing so PLEASE stop using unsafe chat systems such as discord, whatsapp and telegram and start using something encrypted.
You may argue that whatsapp is encrypted but do you TRULY trust facebook?
I recommend XMPP, if you are not familiar with it ask around here on fediverse, you WILL find someone who can help you out.
If you want the easy way, try signal.

What I feel makes XMPP a good option is that it's many small servers which makes it harder, I think. But I'm ignorant.
I use both as you know but anything is better than discord, honestly.
