Podcast with original work ("WAKE: The Album") discussing James Joyce gets +7 upvotes in 2 days. A photograph of a shitty cover of a book gets +130 upvotes in 12 hours. (Mass produced) Junk that took 30 seconds to photograph on an iPhone gets all the social site content support of the community in sharing with others.

FURTHER ANALYSIS OF THE MEDIA ENVIRONMENT... The "WAKE: the Album" posting gets only a SINGLE comment of support from the Reddit /r/JamesJoyce community in 2 days, and that comment was MY OWN. The garbage cover of a book got 32 comments in 12 hours.

One hour later, it is EVEN WORSE!

Someone has downvoted the "WAKE: the Album" posting to 6 (one of which is my upvote). And the book cover photograph that took 30 seconds is getting even more boost as important topic. 142 upvotes.

NOTE: I am not the person who posted either of these two, my post is in the middle that got -3 downvotes in 1 hour for original James Joyce content that is NOT mine from Omphalos Cafe YouTube year 2017.

Community values in April 2025...
