Is "acafan" still a thing? Where does one find such things these days, at least in english? 🙏

I wish to talk meta about some things I'm into. iME tumblr/twittsky/fandom discords have been people who are really only interested in fanworks, and not so much discussing the canon or theories 😅 And Reddit seems to either be primarily memery, or just doesn't exist for this particular media.
Which is great, love that there's thriving communities, simply not what I personally want out of some of my fandoms.

Has everyone scattered to non-public discord servers these days, is this just not really a thing in western fandom anymore, or am I just not turning over the correct rocks?

@FatTiger I have not been seeking it so take this with a giant grain of salt, but 1. I think a huge part of fandom activity is indeed scattered in discords servers for better and for worse; 2. I've seen some people talking about meta on Pillowfort; 3. it seemed like people archived their meta mostly on AO3 or personal websites (there's even an event "March Meta Matters" about archiving fandom meta); 4. this one is mostly vibes but I think Dreamwidth might be a good place to look too.
