This weekend, God estimates that as many as five million people took to the streets across more than a thousand cities. That’s 2% of the American population. The media has tried to heavily downplay these numbers. The billionaires are clearly quite nervous.
@godpod better yet, unlike the “patriots” of January 6th, it was truly peaceful and police officers weren’t killed.
@godpod sorry, 2% of the population is a bit high. US population is around 340 million, so 5 million is about 1.4 percent.

@ekarnowski
And US is not "America", there are also civilized countries on this continent… :>

@godpod

@godpod Wait until those social security checks don't arrive.

@godpod while huge, it's still means 98% didn't and that is the take away the Trump twits will spin
In the UK we marched against leaving the EU in massive protests and not only did we leave despite the referendum they levered as authority being only advisory there were a serious minority that wanted to leave "No Deal" despite those same people campaigning with a "Norway Plus" model promise

So I expect nothing from a protest sadly even when there are huge crowds

@godpod

Had another 6 million joined them we would have had the same number of people who didn’t bother to vote for a woman of color last November

@godpod Awesome I myself was involved I thank everyone that took part very proud God Bless America !
@godpod Estimate? I thought you were supposed to be omniscient*. Please don’t smite me.

@godpod 5 million people, not a single one of which did anything but shout or wave a sign about something or another. No unity. No action. It's just noise and it's absolutely meaningless.

They're arresting and deporting you, so what are you going to do to them?
