It is now 60 years since the world's first exhibition of Computer Art took place.
To mark the occasion, I have dedicated a short essay to the plotter drawing Schotter by Georg Nees. The essay is a summary of my repeated preoccupation with the image and is also intended as a tribute to Georg Nees and his lasting contribution to early Digital Art.
