Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines.

When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.

Yeah, from my experience the education system could stand to place more emphasis on why science is important to everyone. You don't need to become a scientist in order to know enough that will help you in everyday life.

Yeah, some teachers can make science seem like the best thing in the world. Others can make it feel like torture, even to science fans.
