soragrey 🕯️My poor baby kitty. Despite there being a less than 10% chance, the vet found that her cancer has spread to her lungs :( I was so hoping that the radiation treatment took care of it. My only remaining option now is chemotherapy - it has an avg of a 30% response rate, 3-4 months benefit (median) possibly more if the tumor is responsive. I have no idea what sort of timeline is realistic but we're going to get a chemo pill next week and see what happens.

@jesse it’s so unfair how unlucky she has been.
Grimmtooth@soragrey Augh, I've been there so many times. We lost 3 kitties in 2024 and it never gets easier to agree to euthanizing. Out of six kitties, four have been to the vet for one thing or another. I'm happy to report that the 4th is actually responding to treatment. We needed that W.
