Meet me how I prepare a >500€ DigiKey order before I have to pay tariffs when importing electronics parts from the US, because the orange asshole thinks fucking the world economy over is A GrEAt DeAl.

It contains stuff for about 4 projects that I want to finish sooner or later. One is my stair case illumination of which I need at least 24 PCBs. That turns out to be preeeetty expensive.

@G33KatWork you might know about TME (Poland) already; but it not, it’s worth checking them out. I’m Canadian, and have shifted some ordering to them where I can to avoid the craziness to the south….

@davidc__ Thanks! I didn't. I only knew LCSC in China. I am definitely going to check out TME!

Ordering things like raw electronics parts and things that are not "normally" bought by private individuals is really hard in Germany. A lot of distributors actively prevent you from doing that if you don't have a business with 3 quadrillion VAT numbers so they can avoid handling consumer protection cases in case you want to return your reel of 0 ohm resistors within 14 days. It's extremely annoying.
