I can genuinely say that no piece of portable hardware I've ever owned has got as many questions or compliments as my @mntmn Pocket Reform.
@pyoor @mntmn it's so cool. I def want one.

@pyoor @mntmn the pocket reform is one of the devices that gives me "i should slap a LTE thing in that and replace my phone with it" urges

it's unsuitable for me as a laptop but it is very cool and i want to play with it

@pyoor @mntmn ps i would buy a mnt rephone if it worked on US carriers

@pyoor @mntmn I am impressed with the build quality, if the keyboard aspect wasn't bad for me, I would enjoy it a lot more.

Although to be fair, that's not his fault, I just misread that aspect. Thought it would have all the controls I am used to. Spoiler: It didn't alas.

F1-F12 are good examples of this.

But it is very sturdy for sure. :)

@skedarwarrior @mntmn I'm intruiged by what you mean by F1-F12 being an example - were you expecting separate keys instead of requiring a combination keypress for those functions?

@pyoor @mntmn I am used to the US QWERTY setup.

F1-F12 are function keys which sometimes are used for stuff.

One thing also, control + alt and any function key meaning f1-f12 can allow you to go into a terminal. This can be extremely helpful.

Yep

@skedarwarrior @mntmn yeah, I can see that it might be a little trickier to do the MNT key the name of which I forget plus the f-equivalent number key plus the modifier just in terms of simultaneous key presses... Especially given the size of the keyboard (and if you have larger hands)
