Watched **The Stuff (1985)** and I kinda feel it fails as a horror and (above all) satirical film. I feel it misses the failure of institutions and regulations and blames the victims for being addicted to a product. (There was a time when Coca-Cola had cocaine when it was still legal and made drinkers high.) Kinda still appreciate the practical effects, but it has much else to offer.
