It is 2025. I have a contacts card for me, which is marked as me, and one for my son, which is marked as being my son. Both of our full names are present. I have photos in the Photos app with a Person defined for my son and hundreds of thus-categorised photos, under the same name.

Siri still cannot show me photos of "my son", or of (my son's full name). Every time there's an OS update, like yesterday, my wife and I re-test this simple request and laugh at the failure.

@mattgemmell just said yesterday that Google Photos is superior to Apple Photos in almost every way. Your example is one of the many reasons. I now just go to Google Photos for everything and sent Apple Photos app to the App Library drawer.
