really enjoyed #WritersInOxford alternative #LiteraryFestival yesterday - there were 9 of us very briefly presenting our new books published within the last 12 months. I was the only #ScienceWriter, although there are of course quite a few in #Oxford
I presented #Intertwined, and the other books were (I nicked the list from the organisers with their very short keyword description what the books are about):
Angela Burdick, Fit for Purpose (the trials of the NHS)
Joy Hendry, Sharing Worlds (novel in Mexico)
Steve Lunn, The Price of Dormice (Oxford crime)
Mike Philbin, Flint (Martyrs' Memorial)
Richard Abraham, We Will Never Be Here Again (Svein Tuft cyclist)
...

...
Rip Bulkeley, This Rough Beast (poems on Trump)
Alison Baxter, Another Song at Sunset (Lewis Grassic Gibbon)
Jake Lynch, Mind Over Murder (Oxford crime)
Lorna Fergusson, One Morning in Provence (short stories from France)
