You guys! My first long-form video is done!

I'm posting it on YouTube next week. There's early access for Patreon subscribers here!

This video is basic financial literacy 101 in agriculture. It's great for anyone who already has a farm, is thinking about starting one, or if you just want to know what on earth is going on in the farm sector.

This video is especially important if the idea of treating farms like a business makes you uncomfortable!

Clean water, healthy soil, paying a living wage- none of that is free! That all takes money.

And that means sustainability starts with getting comfortable talking about money!

Bonus: this video talks about a couple of my favorite family farms that I've worked with, and how they built a proper living from their farms.

Subscribe link is here. If you're already a patron, this should take you straight to the video!

@sarahtaber that sounds extremely interesting and relevant even for people without farming ambitions! Since "financial literacy" can cover both generally applicable economic insights and policy-specific knowledge: how US-specific are the topics in the video?

(Before I end up promoting this with European friends dreaming of starting a farm and get the reply that EU rules/markets are too different or something)
