Scientists are leaving the United States. Instead of doing something to make the scientists stay, and stop suppressing academic freedom, Elon called them retards.

Science cannot thrive under authoritarianism. Leave and go somewhere where you can thrive and be appreciated.

@neuronakaya Two people are so toxic that in ten years, it will just be them and an entire country all to themselves. 😢 In the show Vikings, that exact thing happens, and someone becomes "the king of Greenland." Strangely fitting, considering how Trump is talking about going to war with that country and taking it over.
