@briankrebs

Great story in my local newspaper today about nearby Congressman (R) complaining to the newspaper for publishing images of a Tesla Takedown protest because they were "providing a platform to 'dangerous extremists.'"

@briankrebs

"Langworthy specifically took issue with photos published in The News from Saturday’s protest outside Tesla on South Park Avenue, which included people holding signs critical of Tesla’s billionaire CEO Elon Musk because of his drastic cost-cutting measures as the leader of the Department of Government Efficiency."

The vast majority of the protesters were white, middle-class people in their 50s and 60s.

@briankrebs It turns out this is the image Rep. Langworthy was specifically very upset about because he felt it would lead to violence.
@VirginiaHolloway @briankrebs lol, I'm old enough to remember when we had an insurrection incited by a guy who made up stories about election fraud, and had a crowd chanting about hanging the vice president
