For all you Evan Doorbell fans, I pulled this one out of the vault. This is a recording of PCI signaling from an old-style (1940s) No. 1 Crossbar sender, and then the same PCI from a new style (1970s) No. 1 Crossbar sender.
I'm pulling audio directly off the trunk here, so that's why it starts off basically silent.
I remember the heated debates on SCSI vs PCI in 1990s personal computers ... and today I learned that the _real_ PCI is a Panel Call Indicator. And I now know how it sounds!
I've also found out about the Evan Doorbell tapes.
