@johnmacintosh Working in an emergency room decades ago I saw a patient, a guitarist in a rock band, who had been playing his electric guitar onstage when, because of a breakdown in the insulation, the guitar strings became electrified. He collapsed convulsing on the stage gripping his guitar but the fans and the rest of the band, thinking he was jerking around in the spirit of things, left him to convulse for a minute or two after which they pulled the plug and called an ambulance. He survived.
