For one thing, one of those journals I liked from a while back was on sale, so I got it! Victory is mine!
Now I need to write more.....
I also went to the store. I've started bringing my little wheelie cart because it's so much easier than manouvering those ferries around the aisles and people. The guy trying to pack as the items were rung in wanted to put the paper towels in first! I was like... they sit perfectly on top? Seriously, he'd fail at Tetris, and my jar of pickles would never have made it out of the store intact.
300 tea bags for 11$ wasn't bad either!
Protein powder was 50$ for 2 kg (not full isolate though).
Also, elections are coming up here, so a car pulled over out front while I was cooking supper. A guy came to the door, which was fine - we had a brief, polite conversation (ironically he said he had misgivings about supporting any particular party the way he was).
Anyway, the interesting thing was: he ended up at my door because the guy who was with him didn't want come... because of my hens? (I had seen one walking down the driveway towards the car, I worry they'll be kidnapped.)
