SO THAT: I have time to ponder and lament the actions leading up to using Time Machine to begin with
on the other hand, it's quite impressive that these backups have not corrupted since June 2023! stark contrast to years of Time Machine via {SMB, AFP} with the whole sparsebundle regularly corrupting after a few months
