I miss Teams so much. The Slack/Zoom stack is just awful.

Three reasons why Teams beats Slack / Zoom:

1) Meeting chats don't disappear after the meeting, allowing discussions to continue
2) Channels require threading
3) Everything is in one UI

@timcappalli
But messages stay around in zoom as long as I’m signed in?
My experience is very different. Teams refuses to launch, to this day, 2/3 of the time I open a meeting link on iOS
@latent_space your experience is different with the 3 things I mentioned?
@timcappalli different in that my experience with teams has been more on the awful end of the spectrum vs slack and zoom
@latent_space oh ok. I didn't really mention anything about general experiences. I mentioned 3 specific things.
@timcappalli was maybe a misreading of the stack comment on my part.
But related to point 1, is it a problem of zoom not requiring you to sign in? From what I can tell, Teams is adamant about ensuring I’m signed in. Zoom is seemingly rarely set up to require that, but when I am, it seems like it saves the conversation history. Is it an issue beyond that though?

@latent_space Zoom meeting chats do not persist, even if you're signed in.

RE: Teams requiring sign in, it's usually a good idea to know who is in your meetings.
