If I am going to be dragged off to jail or disappeared for my beliefs one of these days I might as well write them down and share them. Here goes:

1. Men created gods in their own images and therefore no god is perfect
2. Religions are fine so long as they are taxed as businesses if they behave as businesses
3. There are forces in nature that may or may not ever be explained scientifically and that is as close to what god means to me
4. People can be good or evil and often a little of both but some people are pure evil
5. Racism, misogyny, facism, bigotry, xenophobia, and hatred are evil
6. Art is nothing more or less than an expression of our emotional response to nature and/or human interactions with each other
7. The U.S. Constitution is not perfect but it is worth saving
8. No man is above the law, especially the POTUS
9. Citizens United has damaged Democracy more than any other Supreme Court ruling in the last 50 years
10. The SCOTUS has become so corrupt that it may never be redeemable
