How can I communicate wirelessly through my windows with devices outside? Is there a #transducer available e.g. radio to #optical to #radio ? Do I have to use a laser or led signal? Thanks for any tips.

I made a DIY version for 2m & 70cm #amateurradio bands using grey ribbon cable. It turns out that two strands form a feedline of 110 ohm characteristic impedance so I put two in parallel. I used 5 strands wired G-S-G-S-G - where (at each end) 3 x G are connected to Ground & 2xS to the signal (coax centre). It only give a small SWR bump but at 2.4G the bought one is prob best.
