I really like this definition of noncooperation;
1) DON'T BUY is the boycott part; stick to the essentials, buy them locally where possible. Vote with your wallet, adjust your spending patterns.
2) DON’T HELP is refusing to collaborate, or, if it cannot be avoided, being slow and reactive. Insist on procedure, flag minor mistakes, stick to your contracted hours, postpone until next week, etc.
3) DON'T KNOW is not volunteering any information. You did not see. You don't recall. Zip your lip, don't gossip, regardless of whether it's law enforcement, or Chatty Cathy down the street.

There's more happening in the area of public protest and noncooperation than you might know. Noncooperation (don't buy, don't help, don't know) can be a quiet but effective form of protest. https://wagingnonviolence.org/2025/03/resistance-alive-well-us/
