#GoingLive in about half an hour to play some #DukeNukem3D! After making aspic out of the Rigelatins, Duke takes to the streets of southern California to fight off the latest alien invasion.

I'll be playing the original #DOS version on vintage hardware! This'll be on my Win98 rig, with a P2-450, S3 ViRGE/GX2 video card, and Sound Blaster AWE32 sound.

Meep! =(^ω^)= 40-something girl from the midwest US. Passionate about vintage tech but modern stuff is nice too. Neurological issues give me a drawling, lispy voice but I try to make the best of it. All games played on real consoles and period-authentic hardware!

Had a great stream! Lots of good people in the chat and lots of fun boomer shooter action.

One bad thing though: I've pretty much confirmed that my ViRGE/GX2 is dying. The dark areas of the screen were flickering with light blue 'snow' as I was playing, which I think means the VRAM is going bad. Not sure where I'd source replacement chips, and I'm not very good at soldering. May just have to replace it.

Pretty sure I have a TNT2 M64 card sitting in my parts box. I'll give that a try sometime. I also have an S3 Savage4 Pro (with a DFP port!), but previous experiments revealed that it doesn't get along with my Voodoo2s.
