@newhinton @vkc First impression: the document readjustment is a bit sketchy, so my attempt to scan at a Dutch angle left me with a simple crop that included the towel I rested the document on, and a diagonal top. The text detection is interesting, but it didn't work so well in the low-light conditions I threw at it. Also it didn't make it B&W, but I also chose a colour document so that may be to blame.
Still, it's a starting point!
@newhinton @vkc Better lighting got me confusion about where the document was, due to a crease/shadow in the folded paper. I had to pounce to get the page, and that worked out better. Text detection was a lot better with the clearer shot, as well.
